Behind the Scenes

Behind every successful event there are a large number of activities taking place to ensure that everything runs smoothly. With 200 people due, this year's bean soup has turned into a mammoth cook-in

well thank goodness that's sorted, time for a quick break before the off

and the forthcoming events wouldn't seem complete without our american cousin busy all weekend snapping away, he even had to get in on the pre- birthday celebration planning . . . .

Well we're almost there and with the bar up and running ready for the Friday evening deluge, it's time for some more last minute planning. Now look here, forget the yank, this is what you'll do . . . . .

And over at the food bar it's a hive of efficiency. So roll up, roll up for your tea, coffee, bean soup, welsh cakes, rolls and whatever else we can offer . . . . .

The Tea Bar

well I didn't really want another pint yet!

And once the weekend is well underway, Isca's detailed planning even covers the finer points of the tours. What's that Vic, you'll be a bit slow leaving the pub - well never fear let's take your walking stick off you as we've got this new fangled stick trolley which should speed you up. Never been tested before but never mind, I'm sure you're keen to be a guinea pig . . . . .

Vic and the Pretty Girls at the Boat Inn

. . . . .  especially with a pretty girl on either arm!!  And "Quickie Vic" crossed over that Wye bridge from the Boat Inn in the quickest time we've ever seen, and with a smile on his face!
