During the Autumn and Winter period the side only appears in public at a small number of discrete events including Mumming, Mari Llwyd and Wassailing as well as some Morris Dancing.  Our Events page is kept up to date with all activities and full details of any appearance are usual shown just before any event.

The period from now until the end of April is very important to the side and it is when we concentrate on learning and improving our dancing repertoire.  For the next couple of months we concentrate on our new recruits, both dancers and musicians.

Our practice venue is fairly easy to find and is just above St Gabriel's Church which sits on the crossroads.  After practice we travel around 200 yards from St Gabriel's Church Hall - From the hall walk down the road 50 yards to the crossroads and turn right into Wesley Street - our after practice pub is Mount Pleasant Inn which is about 150 yards on the right just above the road.  There are usually 3 well kept real ales available on handpump and a very warm welcome from this local community pub.
