The Morris Ring Annual Representatives Meeting
Cyfarfod Blynyddol Cynrychiolwyr y Cylch Morus

Monmouth - Friday 7th to Sunday 9th March2003
Trefynwy - Dydd Gwener 7fed i Dd Sul 9fed Mawrth 2003

In 2003 the Isca Morris ran the annual meeting on behalf of the Morris Ring based on the Bridges Community Centre in Monmouth. This comprised a series of private meetings on the Saturday and opened up with a display of public dancing on the Sunday morning.

Although Morris dancing was not as extensively collected in Wales as elsewhere, dances were noted locally in Nantgarw and in a number of other places. Traditional folk plays also survives locally, including the Mari Lwyd which is still performed in a few isolated areas, including the nearby village of Llanfihangel Tor-y-Mynydd, around 6 miles from Monmouth.
